Digital Advocacy in Action: From Identity to Impact

The Center for Social Innovation (CSI), in collaboration with the UNFICYP, invites you to a powerful and interactive full-day workshop as part of the Digital Advocacy for Youth (DAY) and HUMAN projects.
This isn’t just another event—it’s a hands-on simulation designed to empower you, a young changemaker, with the tools, insights, and strategies needed to shape digital advocacy from the ground up. Through real-life role-playing and guided teamwork, you’ll step into the world of digital activism and learn how to craft meaningful campaigns that can drive social change.
🔹 Part One – Identity, Belonging & Action
Led by the HUMAN Project, the morning sessions will bring together youth from both communities in structured, thought-provoking conversations. You’ll explore how social media influences identity, especially for underrepresented or marginalised groups, and discover how shared narratives can foster empathy, peacebuilding, and solidarity. You’ll also learn how to actively stand against hate speech and reshape the digital space into one of connection and mutual respect.
🔹 Part Two – Campaign Creation Lab
In the afternoon, the spotlight turns to DAY—where you’ll roll up your sleeves and build your own digital advocacy campaign from scratch. From brainstorming ideas to shaping strategy and execution, you’ll collaborate in teams to address a pressing social, economic, or environmental issue of your choice. With experienced facilitators guiding you every step of the way, you’ll gain the skills to turn passion into impact.
By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with practical experience, a deeper understanding of digital advocacy, and a powerful network of peers equally committed to driving change.
This is your chance to learn, connect, and lead.
Whether you’re new to activism or already involved, this workshop will elevate your voice and sharpen your skills in the most engaging way possible.
Be part of the action.
Register now and take your advocacy to the next level.
