Wacken Metal Battle

Cyprus officially joins the Wacken Metal Battle for the first time, forming a shared competitive region with Greece.
Six Cypriot bands will be selected through the official Wacken Metal Battle application process and will be invited to perform at Savino Live. Each band gets a 30 minute set in front of an international judging panel.
At the end of the night, two bands will be chosen to represent Cyprus at the ‘Greece-Cyprus Regional Final’ in Athens on
April 5th, 2026. The winner of that final earns a slot at
Wacken Open Air.
Performing bands will be announced once registrations close and the review process is complete. Stay tuned 🤘
