DESCRIPTION:Nicosia Book Fest 2026 – Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Βιβλίου\nΜε αφορμή τη σημερινή Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Βιβλίου\, το Nicosia Book Fest ανακοινώνει βασικές πληροφορίες για την διοργάνωση του 2026\, ανανεώνοντας τη δέσμευσή του για την προώθηση του βιβλίου και της φιλαναγνωσίας στην Κύπρο.\nΤο Nicosia Book Fest 2026 θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 9–11 Οκτωβρίου 2026\, στο Πάρκο Ακρόπολης στη Λευκωσία\, έναν χώρο που έχει πλέον καθιερωθεί ως σημείο συνάντησης δημιουργών\, εκδοτών και αναγνωστών. Η Τελετή Έναρξης θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή 9 Οκτωβρίου\, σηματοδοτώντας την έναρξη ενός τριημέρου αφιερωμένου στο βιβλίο και τον πολιτισμό.\nΑπό τη σύλληψη και την ίδρυσή του\, το φεστιβάλ έχει ως βασικό σκοπό την προώθηση του βιβλίου και της φιλαναγνωσίας\, την καλλιέργεια πολιτιστικής κουλτούρας\, τη στήριξη των ανθρώπων του βιβλίου και\, ευρύτερα\, τη συμβολή στη διαμόρφωση μιας κοινωνίας με κριτική σκέψη\, δημιουργικότητα και πνευματική καλλιέργεια.\nΗ Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Βιβλίου\, που τιμά τους συγγραφείς\, τους εκδότες\, τους βιβλιοπώλες και τους αναγνώστες σε όλο τον κόσμο\, αποτελεί μια υπενθύμιση της δύναμης του βιβλίου ως φορέα γνώσης και πολιτισμού. Στο πνεύμα αυτό\, το φετινό φεστιβάλ συνδέεται με την Ισπανία\, η οποία θα είναι η Τιμώμενη Χώρα για το 2026.\nΗ επιλογή αυτή αποκτά ιδιαίτερο συμβολισμό\, καθώς η Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Βιβλίου συνδέεται ιστορικά με σημαντικές μορφές της ισπανικής και παγκόσμιας λογοτεχνίας\, όπως ο Miguel de Cervantes.
