SUMMARY:Εκπαιδευτική πεζοπορία στα Τεισιά της Μαδαρής
DESCRIPTION:Το έργο Πανδώτειρα\, σε συνεργασία με την ομάδα Los Vagabundos\, σε προσκαλεί σε εκπαιδευτική πεζοπορία στο μονοπάτι «Τεισιά της Μαδαρής». Έλα μαζί μας για να μάθεις για τη βιοποικιλότητα και τη γεωλογία της περιοχής\, απολαμβάνοντας την πανέμορφη διαδρομή και τα εντυπωσιακά σημεία θέας.\n>> Κυριακή 29 Μαρτίου 2026\, Μονοπάτι «Τεισιά της Μαδαρής». Εκκίνηση στις 10:00. \nΔες το σημείο στάθμευσης / εκκίνησης εδώ. Λόγω περιορισμένου χώρου στάθμευσης προτείνεται η συνεπιβίβαση (carpooling) προς την τοποθεσία. \nΚατά την πεζοπορία\, μέλη της ομάδας του έργου Πανδώτειρα θα μας μιλήσουν για τις προστατευόμενες περιοχές της Κύπρου\, τη χλωρίδα\, την πανίδα και την πτηνοπανίδα που φιλοξενεί η συγκεκριμένη προστατευόμενη περιοχή\, καθώς και για τη μοναδική γεωλογία της περιοχής. \nΤο μονοπάτι είναι εύκολο\, μήκους 3 km\, κυκλικό και έχει διάρκεια περίπου 2 ώρες\, μαζί με τις ενημερωτικές στάσεις. \nΜάθε περισσότερα και δήλωσε συμμετοχή πατώντας εδώ. \nΣημεία ενδιαφέροντος\nΗ διαδρομή προσφέρει εκπληκτική θέα προς το Ακρωτήρι και την αλυκή της Λεμεσού\, αλλά και τον Πενταδάκτυλο\, την Κερύνεια και τον Κόλπο της Μόρφου. Θα περπατήσουμε ανάμεσα σε αόρατους και ενδημικές λατζιές και θα παρατηρήσουμε τα αγριολούλουδα της εποχής\, όπως τις πανέμορφες ορχιδέες. Επίσης θα μάθουμε για τα είδη πουλιών της περιοχής και θα έχουμε την ευκαιρία να παρατηρήσουμε με κιάλια είδη\, όπως τον Σπιζαετό\, τη Σκαλιφούρτα\, την Κίσσα\, τον Πέμπετσο και τον Δεντροβάτη. \nΤέλος\, μερικές σύντομες στάσεις θα μας επιτρέψουν να παρατηρήσουμε σημεία φυσικού και γεωλογικού ενδιαφέροντος. Ήξερες ότι… \nΟι προστατευόμενες περιοχές «ΕΖΔ Μαδαρή – Παπούτσα» και «ΖΕΠ Βουνοκορφές Μαδαρής – Παπούτσας»\, μέσα στις οποίες βρίσκεται το μονοπάτι\, φιλοξενούν 40 από τα 131 είδη ενδημικών φυτών της Κύπρου\, καθώς και πολλά μεταναστευτικά και άλλα σημαντικά είδη πουλιών που φωλιάζουν εκεί.\nΣε ολόκληρη τη διαδρομή γύρω από τα «Τεισιά της Μαδαρής» εμφανίζονται φλεβικά πυριγενή πετρώματα και είναι μία από τις πιο εντυπωσιακές εμφανίσεις του πετρώματος αυτού. Οι σχεδόν κατακόρυφοι βράχοι ξεπροβάλλουν σαν τείχη στις βουνοκορφές.\nΣτο τέλος της πεζοπορίας θα προσφέρονται ροφήματα. \nΤην εκπαιδευτική πεζοπορία θα προσφέρουν μέλη της ομάδας του έργου Πανδώτειρα από το Terra Cypria και το BirdLife Cyprus.

DESCRIPTION:Για όσους αγαπούν τη φύση και αναζητούν μια διαφορετική εμπειρία απόδρασης\, η δραστηριότητα Safari & Hiking στον Μαχαιρά αποτελεί μια ξεχωριστή πρόταση για μια γεμάτη δράση ημέρα στα βουνά της Κύπρου. Πρόκειται για μια οργανωμένη outdoor εμπειρία που συνδυάζει εξερεύνηση και πεζοπορία σε ένα από τα πιο εντυπωσιακά φυσικά τοπία του νησιού. \nΗ δραστηριότητα πραγματοποιείται στην περιοχή του Μαχαιρά\, μια περιοχή γνωστή για τα πυκνά πευκοδάση\, τα ορεινά μονοπάτια και τις μοναδικές φυσικές διαδρομές της. Ο Μαχαιράς βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο περίπου 900 μέτρων και φιλοξενεί ένα από τα σημαντικότερα φυσικά οικοσυστήματα της Κύπρου\, ενώ η περιοχή είναι επίσης γνωστή για την ιστορική Μονή Μαχαιρά που ιδρύθηκε τον 12ο αιώνα. \nΗ συγκεκριμένη δραστηριότητα προσφέρει μια περιπετειώδη διαδρομή μέσα από φαράγγια\, ποτάμια και καταρράκτες\, οδηγώντας τους συμμετέχοντες σε μέρη που μπορούν να προσεγγιστούν μόνο με τα πόδια. Η πεζοπορία ακολουθεί τμήματα της κοίτης του ποταμού Πεδιαίου και περνά μέσα από εντυπωσιακά φυσικά τοπία\, μικρούς καταρράκτες και στενά φαράγγια που δημιουργούν μια πραγματικά κινηματογραφική εμπειρία στη φύση. \nΗ διάρκεια της δραστηριότητας είναι περίπου έξι ώρες\, γεγονός που την καθιστά ιδανική για όσους θέλουν να ζήσουν μια ολοκληρωμένη περιπέτεια στο βουνό. Η διαδρομή απαιτεί μέτρια φυσική κατάσταση\, καθώς περιλαμβάνει περάσματα μέσα από νερό και ολισθηρά σημεία\, στοιχεία που κάνουν την εμπειρία ακόμη πιο συναρπαστική για τους λάτρεις της δράσης. \nΟι διοργανωτές προτείνουν στους συμμετέχοντες να έχουν μαζί τους κατάλληλο εξοπλισμό\, όπως παπούτσια με καλή πρόσφυση\, ρούχα που στεγνώνουν εύκολα\, νερό και σνακ\, ώστε να απολαύσουν με ασφάλεια και άνεση τη διαδρομή. \nΠέρα όμως από τη σωματική δραστηριότητα\, αυτό που κάνει τη συγκεκριμένη εμπειρία πραγματικά ξεχωριστή είναι η αίσθηση εξερεύνησης. Οι συμμετέχοντες έχουν την ευκαιρία να ανακαλύψουν άγνωστες γωνιές του Μαχαιρά\, να περπατήσουν σε τοπία που μοιάζουν ανέγγιχτα από τον χρόνο και να ζήσουν μια ημέρα μακριά από τον θόρυβο της πόλης. \nΕίναι μια δραστηριότητα που απευθύνεται τόσο σε λάτρεις της πεζοπορίας όσο και σε όσους θέλουν να δοκιμάσουν κάτι διαφορετικό\, συνδυάζοντας άσκηση\, περιπέτεια και επαφή με την κυπριακή φύση. Μετά την παραλαβή του εξοπλισμού θα συναντηθούμε με τους πιστοποιημένους εκπαιδευτές σκι από τον Κυπριακό Οργανισμό Αθλητισμού\, σε μικρές ομάδες 5-10 ατόμων. DESCRIPTION:We will start early\, early from Nicosia (Handicraft Center). We will make stops in Kofinou (Agios Modestos Church – Village Square) and Limassol (Jumbo Linopetras)\, for those friends who want to board from these areas and then via the highway\, we will head to Paphos and later to the port in Latsi. We will board the small boat and from there our adventure begins. Until we reach the Blue Lagoon\, we will pass by the Baths of Aphrodite\, the church of St. Georgiou\, Platsi (Theater Bay)\, Mylonas Bay\, Fontana Amorosa\, Akrotiri Arnaouti. In all the points we mentioned\, there will be a guided tour by the captain. In the Blue Lagoon Bay\, we will have time for swimming and diving (1 hour). At 13:00\, we will return back to the port of Lazio. We will board the bus again and depart for lunch in Pissouri. After our repast\, we will board the bus and make our way back. DESCRIPTION:A few words about our one-day trip: \nWe will start by bus from Nicosia and the Cyprus Handicraft Center and will head via the highway to the double bridge of Trimiklini. We will stop to see the unique double bridge in Cyprus\, where the bridge consists of 2 different structures\, dating back to different historical periods. In the area\, we will also stop for coffee and have time to rest. Then we will continue our route and head to the Holy Monastery of Trooditissa for a pilgrimage. Then we will board our bus again heading to the Kykkos Monastery where we will stop for a pilgrimage and visit the Monastery museum. The excursion will conclude with a buffet lunch in Kykkos. Then we will return back to the Center of Cypriot Handicrafts from the mountainous areas of Nicosia. \nDouble Bridge: \nIn Trimiklini\, Limassol district\, there is a special and rare architectural work: the only double bridge in Cyprus. What sets it apart from any other bridge on the island is the fact that one bridge is built directly above the other\, creating an impressive image. The older of the two was built in 1901\, with the aim of connecting the two banks of the Kouris River and facilitating the crossing of people and carts. Later\, when the needs of the area changed and traffic increased\, a second bridge was built at a higher level\, above the first\, to serve more modern transportation. \nMonastery of Virgin Mary Trooditissa: \nis a devout retreat located on the southern slopes of the Troodos mountain range among the huge pine trees and greenery. It dates back to the 13th century and is located northwest of the village of Platres\, “hidden” in a beautiful green landscape. The Monastery of Trooditissa is built higher than all the other monasteries on the island\, at an altitude of 1370 meters\, on the high mountain peaks of Troodos. The Virgin Mary was named “Trooditissa” because she was discovered on a slope of Troodos. She was also called “Virgin Mary Olympia” since it is adjacent to the highest mountain peak of the island\, Olympus. Inside the temple\, there is the icon of the Virgin Mary\, covered in silver leaves. This icon came from Asia Minor and is considered the protector of childless couples. \nKykkos Monastery: \nKykkos Monastery is located in the mountainous region of the Marathasa Valley and is the richest monastery on the island. It is located on the top of the mountain\, at an altitude of 1\,318 meters. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary\, the Monastery has one of the three icons attributed to the Apostle and Evangelist Luke. The icon is covered with silver and kept in a case made of tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl and is placed in front of the iconostasis. The Monastery burned down several times and nothing remains of its original building. Religious festivals are held on September 8 (Nativity of the Virgin Mary) and August 15 (Assumption of the Virgin Mary). DESCRIPTION:Η ομάδα του Salonica View διοργανώνει μονοήμερη εκδρομή με οινογνωσία\, πεζοπορία στο μονοπάτι Καταρράκτη του Μιλλομέρη στις Πάνω Πλάτρες και επίσκεψη στο Όμοδος.\nΛίγα λόγια για την εκδρομή μας:\nΗ ομάδα μας θα ξεκινήσει από τη Λευκωσία (Κέντρο Κυπριακής Χειροτεχνίας) το πρωί. Στη συνέχεια\, θα γίνει επιβίβαση με πρώτη στάση την Κοφίνου και μετά στάση στη Λεμεσό. Η πρώτη μας στάση θα είναι στο γραφικό χωριό Όμοδος\, ένα από τα πιο παραδοσιακά και γοητευτικά χωριά της Κύπρου\, όπου θα έχουμε χρόνο για καφέ. Στη συνέχεια\, θα επισκεφθούμε τις Πλάτρες για μια μοναδική εμπειρία οινογνωσίας\, δοκιμάζοντας εκλεκτά κυπριακά κρασιά. Μετά την οινογνωσία\, θα κατευθυνθούμε πρός το σημείο έναρξης της πεζοπορίας μας. Ο καταρράκτης του Μιλλομέρη\, βρίσκεται στη νοτιοανατολική περιοχή του χωριού Πλάτρες. Η ροή νερού που φτάνει από τον Κρυό Ποταμό έκανε το μέρος υγρό και δροσερό και έτσι οι κάτοικοι ονόμασαν τον καταρράκτη Μιλλομέρη. Το νερό του καταρράκτη πέφτει από ύψος 15 μέτρων\, σχηματίζοντας μία μικρή λίμνη. Η πεζοπορία θα γίνει σε μονοπάτι 1χλμ και είναι σχετικά ομαλή\, αν και έχει κάποια κλίση\, καθώς ακολουθεί καθοδική πορεία προς τον καταρράκτη. Πέρα από τη φυσική ομορφιά του τοπίου\, όσοι θέλήσουν μπορούν να τολμήσουν και μια βουτιά. Η εκδρομή μας θα ολοκληρωθεί με φαγητό στις Πλάτρες.
